Youth policy development program starts in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, the implementation of the state program “Development of Youth Policy in the Republic of Bashkortostan” for 2024-2030 begins. Its main directions were discussed at a government meeting.

“In 2021, following national trends, we created a separate state body for working with youth. Currently, 67 youth policy institutions operate in our municipalities. At the same time, we improve the conditions for young people's self-realization every year. Key events, goals, and objectives in youth policy development for the next six years are collected in the corresponding state program,” noted Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov.

The developed state program aims to create conditions for youth self-realization. It includes developing young people's creative potential, preventing asocial phenomena, and increasing the proportion of citizens involved in volunteering.

According to Vito Sabirov, Chairman of the State Committee on Youth Policy, the development potential of this area in the Republic of Bashkortostan is determined by the possibility of creating modern points of attraction for youth in cities and villages, improving measures to support youth organizations, and introducing modern forms and methods of working with youth at the regional and municipal levels.

“Modern youth today are interested in events using gaming technologies, virtual reality, interactive involvement, and open dialogue. We always need to focus on young people's requests, so we conduct focus groups and surveys and receive feedback to hear and understand them. With this approach, we will implement the state program in 2024-2030,” comments the head of the regional department.

As part of the state program, comprehensive training of specialists in working with youth will continue. From 2023, at the request of municipalities, the state committee will organize training and invite federal experts to participate. Thus 2023, more than 10 training events were held for industry employees.

Andrey Nazarov proposed adopting the resolution in the proposed wording. The Prime Minister instructed the State Committee on Youth Policy and the relevant executive authorities to organize events to involve students of professional educational organizations in project activities.
