Head of Bashkortostan explained friendship with Belarus and Kazakhstan importance

In an interview with the BST TV channel, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, explained the importance of developing cooperation with Belarus and Kazakhstan.

“After 2022 and the introduction of sanctions, a clear understanding began: if we close ourselves off, we will miss something. All supply chains have broken. There are no components or products that we used to sell in the West, but now we cannot. Therefore, it was necessary to build relationships at the level of state leaders, thus creating comfortable conditions for business.

What did these trips lead to? I have developed a warm, respectful relationship with the President of Kazakhstan. We talked with him for a long time. Kazakhstan behaves very carefully in the international arena. Belarusians are the most important partners for us. We have several Belarusian factories in the pipeline. Their investments, technologies, and equipment are coming. This is very important to us. And most importantly, we feel that they want to cooperate with us.

China is our important foreign trade partner, so we opened our representative office there. Our foreign trade turnover with Turkey increased 2.5 times. Some doors were closed to us, but we are opening others and looking for new partners,” said Radiy Khabirov.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that Azat Askarov was appointed representative of Bashkiria at the trade mission of the Russian Federation in Uzbekistan.
