The head of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova, summarized the official voting results in the Russian presidential election at a special meeting. Thus, Vladimir Putin received 87.28% of the votes (76,277,708 people), Nikolai Kharitonov—4.31% (3,768,470), Vladislav Davankov—3.85% (3,362,484), and Leonid Slutsky—3.20 % (2,797,629).
The overall turnout across the country was 77.49%. In absolute terms, 87,576,075 voters took part in the elections.
“In the modern history of Russia, there have never been such indicators,” RIA Novosti quotes Pamfilova.
Earlier, Bashinform posted that 90.96% of Bashkiria’s voters supported Vladimir Putin.
