Bashkortostan government introduced 46 bills to State Assembly in 2023

The Republic Mangement Center of Bashkortostan hosted a hearing on the regional government's annual report on the results of law-making and judicial work in the region's executive authorities for 2023. The event took the form of a seminar meeting with lawyers from the republic's executive authorities.

First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Government RB Marina Dolich noted that in 2023, the government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, exercising the right of legislative initiative, submitted 46 bills to the State Assembly - Kurultai of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

“The regional government sent ten bills to the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan for submission to the republican parliament. Draft resolutions were also submitted to the State Assembly on a legislative initiative to introduce three draft federal laws to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. All of them related to socially significant issues, including the status of military personnel, social protection of disabled people and land lease,” the speaker said.

In 2023, the government office of the Republic of Bashkortostan received 3,176 draft legal acts for legal and anti-corruption examination, including 249 decrees and orders of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, 1,914 orders of the government of the Republic of Bashkortostan and 173 agreements and treaties. At the same time, some of the documents were returned for revision. Marina Dolich gave instructions to improve the input quality when preparing projects, regulations, orders, and government decisions.
