Neighbors' rights will be protected when renting apartments in Russia
Deputies adopted in the third and final reading a law that will allow the rental of residential premises in apartment buildings, including for a short period, only subject to neighbors' rights and legitimate interests. According to the State Duma press service, changes are being made to the Housing Code of the Russian Federation. The document was developed in pursuance of the decision of the Constitutional Court.
Also, when renting apartments, the rules for maintaining common property must be observed, and metering devices must be used.
It is noted that if neighbors' rights are violated, they can go to court.
