

The Russian government has begun developing the national project “Long and Active Life,” as the Russian press service reported. The program's key goal is to increase life expectancy to 78 years by 2030. It will include activities for the comprehensive development of emergency care and the fight against cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and diabetes.
More than 4,000 healthcare facilities will be created by the end of 2030, and the material and technical base of over 2,500 kindergarten buildings and 9,3 thousand schools will be updated.
As part of the “Professionality” project, the number of colleges will increase, and training areas will expand, including specialties in healthcare, the service sector, and creative industries.
From 2025, it is planned to launch the “Zemstvo Cultural Worker” program, within the framework of which:
- if a specialist moves to work in a village or small town, he will receive a one-time payment of 1 million rubles,
- if they go to the Far East, Donbas, or Novorossiya, the payment to him will be 2 million rubles.
From 2025, standard personal income tax deductions for children will be doubled:
- for the second child, it will be 2.8 thousand rubles,
- up to 6 thousand rubles per month for the third and each subsequent child.
The amount of annual income, up to which such deductions are applied, increases from 350 to 450 thousand rubles.
From March 1, 2024, payments will be made to medical workers in settlements with a population of up to 50 thousand people:
- doctors – 50 thousand rubles,
- for nursing staff – 30 thousand rubles.
In settlements with a population of 50 to 100 thousand inhabitants, the amount of payments will be:
- doctors – 29 thousand rubles,
- paramedics – 13 thousand rubles.
From September 2024, a payment of 5 thousand rubles will be introduced for educational advisers to school directors and secondary vocational education organizations.
The minimum wage should increase to 35 thousand rubles.
