On March 11, the Head of Bashkiria met with the General Director of Rostec State Corporation, Sergey Chemezov. Radiy Khabirov spoke about the essence of the meeting on his social networks.
“We discussed the republic's cooperation with the State Corporation with Sergei Chemezov. One of the main issues is the creation of a machine tool cluster in Bashkortostan. Our republic already has experience in this complex and critically important area. We agreed to organize new production facilities based on the Sterlitamak NPO Stankostroenie. Thanks to this, we can increase our competencies and significantly increase the number of machines produced.
Another important project: We devised a proposal to create a squadron of helicopters for firefighting. This will save forests and load our factory with orders.
Rostec is one of the republic's main industrial partners; we have built good, understandable relationships. In total, 13 enterprises are located within the boundaries of the State Corporation on the territory of Bashkortostan. These are the largest production facilities; they operate stably and largely determine the successful development of the region’s industry and its growth,” writes the head of the region.
