Radiy Khabirov and Sergey Chemezov discussed prospects for cooperation

The head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, met with the Rostec State Corporation General Director, Sergey Chemezov. On the agenda is strengthening interaction with the republic and developing industrial enterprises that are part of the Rostec group.

The head of the region noted the stable work of Bashkortostan's industrial sector. Let us recall that at the end of 2023, the industrial production index in the republic reached 106.5 percent. Rostec enterprises also significantly contributed to the formation of this indicator.

The republic's engineering flagship, UMPO, will celebrate its 100th founding anniversary in 2025. Radiy Khabirov and Sergey Chemezov discussed preparations for this significant date.

At the meeting, several promising projects of republican enterprises were discussed, particularly the creation of a foundry in Sterlitamak to develop machine tool production at NPO Stankostroenie.

Radiy Khabirov also created a squadron of Ka-32 fire and rescue helicopters produced in Kumertau. This will allow you to respond quickly to emerging emergencies, particularly natural fires in the summer.

Among the current issues is the staffing of production. The General Director of Rostec highly appreciated the efficiency of the state corporation's production and training center, which was created based on UMPO. He announced plans to expand its capabilities to train qualified specialists.
