Andrey Nazarov spoke about Bashkortostan cultural development

I am particularly proud of the “Bashkir cinema” phenomenon. A national film studio, the Union of Cinematographers, has been operating in the republic for over thirty years, and the largest network of modernized cinema halls has been operating. “Now we are creating a Cinema Fund. We established grants and allocated 50 million rubles of state support for the production of films,” said Andrey Nazarov, Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic, in his speech at the plenary session of the ART-Kurultai forum.

“Sabantuy” has become the calling card of the republic, he noted. Last year, the Bashkir folk holiday was held in 17 Russian regions, as well as in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

The cultural component of the large-scale X Forum of the regions of Russia and Belarus was a landmark event. This year, the republic is preparing to host the XX Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan.

“Bashkortostan has always been a bridge between Western and Eastern civilizations. We have about 6,000 cultural heritage sites with enormous educational and tourist potential. We are currently working on a project to construct an archaeological depository on the territory of a unique site—“Gorodishche Ufa II.” Here, we need the assistance of the Russian Ministry of Culture,” the Bashkir prime minister addressed the head of the department, Olga Lyubimova, who was present at the forum.

Andrey Nazarov congratulated cultural workers on the upcoming professional holiday, celebrated on March 25, and presented them with state awards.
