Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in Volga Federal District assessed situation in Bashkiria

On March 1, in Ufa, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Volga Federal District, Igor Komarov, held a meeting where he assessed the socio-political situation in the region.

The Plenipotentiary noted that all conditions have been created in Bashkortostan for holding accessible and safe elections of the Head of State: “Awareness about elections is an important condition for ensuring the legitimacy of the results. Election commissions need to strengthen information work. It is necessary to notify all republic residents about the upcoming vote.”

During the meeting, the Plenipotentiary highlighted the socio-economic sphere, quality of life, and improving people's well-being. According to him, the special operation participants and their family members, older people, and rural residents need support.
