According to the adopted law, great-grandparents who are guardians may receive the right to an increased fixed payment to the old-age or disability insurance pension.
We are talking about people who are dependent on disabled great-grandchildren who have not reached the age of 18 or adults who are studying full-time in basic educational programs but no longer than until they reach the age of 23.
The bonus will also be given to people who care for great-grandchildren over this age if these great-grandchildren become disabled before reaching the age of 18 (provided that they do not have non-disabled parents).
