Vladimir Putin instructed to extend Zemstvo programs until 2030

Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to extend the terms of the Zemsky Doctor, Zemsky Paramedic, and Zemsky Teacher programs until 2030. The corresponding instruction was published on the Kremlin website.

“To the Government of the Russian Federation: to ensure an extension until 2030 for the implementation of the Zemsky Doctor, Zemsky Paramedic, and Zemsky Teacher programs,” the document says.

Reports must be submitted by September 25 and December 20. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin was appointed responsible.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, in 2023, under the “Zemsky Doctor” program in the republic, 83 doctors received 1.5 million rubles each, and 62 doctors received 1 million rubles each. Also, 49 paramedics, midwives, and nurses received 750 thousand rubles each, and their 19 colleagues received 500 thousand rubles each. Under the Zemsky Paramedic program, 33 more paramedics (obstetricians) received 500 thousand rubles each. These payments to doctors are provided within the framework of the national project “Healthcare”.

Under the Zemsky Teacher program, three teachers received payments of 1 million rubles last year and 150 received payments over the four years of the program.
