Radiy Khabirov spoke at plenary session of Russian Industry and Trade Ministry

On February 14 in Moscow, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov took part in the business program of Industry Day. The event takes place on the International Exhibition "Russia" site as part of the Forum of National Achievements.

The head of the region, in particular, spoke at the plenary session of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, which was dedicated to the results of developing the country's industrial sectors in 2023 and tasks for the near future.

The session was opened by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government - Minister of Industry and Trade of the country Denis Manturov. He noted that the domestic industrial sector had adapted to the restrictions caused by foreign sanctions and the coronavirus pandemic.

The Deputy Prime Minister added that high results had been achieved due to many years of systematic work.

Among the measures to support the industry, the Deputy Prime Minister named the activities of the Federal Industrial Development Fund, the creation of industrial technology parks, export stimulation, and the development of new technologies and competencies.

During the panel session, governors of Russian regions and heads of large domestic industrial enterprises delivered reports.

The Head of Bashkortostan noted in his speech that the country’s industry, under foreign sanctions, demonstrated resilience and dynamic development indicators.

He added that the cluster approach was actively used to develop industrial sectors in the republic.

In particular, Bashkortostan is actively developing clusters; we have 9 of them - the country's highest number. We are already working to form 8 more interregional clusters. On the agenda is the issue of creating interstate clusters, in particular with the Republic of Belarus.

The Head of Bashkortostan also highly appreciated the effectiveness of interaction between government bodies and heads of industrial enterprises. It relates, among other things, to working groups with large vertically integrated companies and traditional thematic meetings for the republic - “Industrial Hours” and “Investment Hours”.

Good indicators of industrial development are observed. Thanks to support measures, government programs - all the tools developed by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, we can give quick, reasonable responses to current challenges, Radiy Khabirov added.
