Bashkiria authorities received approval for large facilities development
These include the railway from the Trans-Urals to Kazakhstan and the expansion of the Alga SEZ.
Following the meeting with the Minister of Economic Development of Russia, Maxim Reshetnikov, the Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov thanked him for supporting Bashkortostan’s initiatives to promote infrastructure facilities.
“Today, we substantively discussed the roadmap for constructing the Sibay – Podolsk – Novorudnaya railway line. I hope it will truly become the largest infrastructure railway facility in the republic for many decades.
What is very important is that we also agreed to expand the Alga special economic zone to the Ufa region, Salavat, and Agidel territory. We see that investor interest in our SEZ is growing. The areas that exist are already practically reserved. Therefore, we must create even more space. Just from my last trip to Belarus, I can say that we brought back agreements with investors for 100 billion rubles of investment.
And, of course, we outlined the main outlines of the 20th anniversary Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan. As I already said, Kazakhstan is a vital foreign economic partner for Bashkortostan,” wrote Radiy Khabirov.
