Today, February 8, the working visit of the Bashkortostan delegation to the Republic of Belarus began. It is headed by the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov.
During the visit, the delegation of the republic intends to visit the Minsk Automobile Plant and the Chinese-Belarusian industrial park “Great Stone”. Radiy Khabirov plans to hold negotiations with the management of some Belarusian companies.
Together with the Prime Minister of Belarus, Roman Golovchenko, the Head of Bashkortostan, will take part in the business forum of the two republics.
“We continue to do a lot of work to develop cooperation with Belarus; for us, it is the main partner. And we moved to the deep integration of our enterprises and mutual investments. To maintain a high pace of relationship development, we need to meet regularly and discuss new projects. On this visit, we again brought a business mission. It includes 54 companies that plan to find new partners. Tomorrow, there will be meetings in B2B format, at which presentations of our companies will take place.
Tomorrow, we will meet with the Prime Minister of the country, Roman Golovchenko, and with him, we will discuss our “road map”.
We will probably be ready to sign three significant agreements. In mechanical engineering, this is the construction of the MAZ plant - a joint project of MAZ and the Ufa Tram and Trolleybus Plant to produce trolleybuses. This is the creation of a battery production plant. And the Amkodor-Alga project. This is a large plant producing heavy loading and construction equipment. These are the main things in the industry. But I emphasize that we will discuss other issues here, including in the field of culture and tourism,” said Radiy Khabirov upon arrival at Minsk airport, answering questions from journalists.
