At the House of the Republic, the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov held the next “Urban Environment Hour”. On the agenda are projects for improving public spaces in the republic's populated areas.

At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the Ufa administration, Ratmir Mavliev, presented a “road map” for updating the “guest” streets in the historical center of the city - Lenin, Karl Marx, Pushkin, Kommunisticheskaya and Novomostovaya. They plan to allocate 1.5 billion rubles for these purposes in 2024. We are discussing modernizing sidewalks, street lighting, repairing house facades, address signs, and advertising signs as part of the overall concept of “Back to Basics.”

A design project for address signs made in a classic style was also presented at the meeting.

To green the historical center of Ufa, 450 large linden seedlings will be planted for the anniversary of the republic's capital. As part of the annual “Green Bashkiria” campaign, trees and shrubs will continue to be planted in every municipal district of the city.

The head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, emphasized that builders have much work ahead of them, which must be completed by the fall of 2024.
