Bashkiria State Assembly's first plenary meeting in 2024 will be held on January 25

At a meeting of the Presidium of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan, deputies adopted the agenda of the fifth plenary meeting of parliament, which will take place on January 25.

It will hear the Commissioner for Children's Rights annual report in Bashkiria and plans to consider several regional bills in the first reading.

In particular, it plans to change the law “On the privatization of state property in the republic.” This bill regulates specific issues related to the privatization of gas distribution networks, gas consumption networks and facilities of such networks, information support for the privatization of state property, its sale at competitions, and alienation of land plots in the privatization of buildings, structures, and structures. The specifics of state real estate privatization related to cultural heritage sites are also established.

Deputies plan to make changes to the Family Code of Bashkortostan, which, in particular, proposes to expand the list of grounds for divorce.

Thus, changing the civil status record about a change in gender by one of the spouses will be grounds for divorce. It is also established that persons who have changed their gender cannot be adoptive parents, as well as guardians or trustees of children.
