Bashkiria submitted signatures supporting Vladimir Putin

Signatures supporting the nomination of Vladimir Putin for the post of President of the Russian Federation were delivered from Bashkortostan to the Central Election Headquarters. The regional election headquarters reports this. As we told earlier, the collection took place throughout the republic; volunteers and activists of youth organizations and volunteer movements were on duty at the checkpoints on weekdays and weekends.

“Today, we delivered the first batch of signature sheets from the residents of our republic in support of Vladimir Putin’s candidacy. I note that the collection began on December 23, continued on all days, including holidays, and will continue throughout the republic. The great activity of our residents shows the colossal support of our leader,” says Ruslan Nasretdinov, head of the regional executive committee of the United Russia party.

“Many of my friends responded to volunteer to collect signatures for Vladimir Putin; for them, it is important who will be the president of Russia. The consciousness of our youth movement suggests that there are active and politically literate youth in Bashkiria,” says Irina Sukhareva, chairman of the board of student groups of Bashkortostan.

As reported on Vladimir Putin's official website, more than 1.3 million signatures were collected in the country's regions; the procedure will continue until January 21. Let us remind you that on January 5, the Central Election Commission registered the first candidates to participate in the elections. These are Leonid Slutsky and Vladislav Davankov.
