In Bashkiria, the collection of signatures supporting Vladimir Putin’s candidacy for the post of President of Russia continues. Residents of the city of Salavat actively support the nomination of the current head of state.
There are information points in the city's shopping centers where those interested can support Vladimir Putin's candidacy in the Russian presidential elections, which will be held in 2024 from March 15 to 17.
As a self-nominated candidate, Vladimir Putin must collect more than 300,000 supporting signatures. Salavat residents concerned about their country's future come to the city’s shopping centers, where a collection of signatures supporting Putin is organized.
Thus, the information point for collecting signatures in Salavat was visited by Albert Rakhimov, a member of the city’s Public Chamber, head of the military-patriotic club “Vatan,” and head of the local branch of the “Yunarmia.”
One of the points was visited by Tatyana Starikova and her nine-year-old granddaughter. According to the pensioner, her granddaughter, having learned about collecting signatures, advised her grandmother to support the current president with her signature.
To leave your vote supporting the country's current leader, you must visit the point with your passport and fill out the appropriate form with your hand.
The day before, the CEC completed accepting applications from self-nominated candidates. They need to collect 300 thousand signatures by the end of January. Reception of documents from candidates nominated by parties will last until 18.00 on January 1. Registration of all applicants must be completed by February 10, 2024.
