Youth of Bashkiria are actively involved in collecting signatures supporting Vladimir Putin

In Bashkortostan, work continues to collect signatures supporting Vladimir Putin’s candidacy in the Russian presidential elections in March 2024. Since December 23, signature collection points have been operating in large shopping centers in Ufa, Sterlitamak, Salavat, Beloretsk, Birsk, Oktyabrsky, Neftekamsk, Agidel and the village of Chishmy. You can cast your vote in support on weekdays and weekends.

Volunteers and activists of youth organizations and various volunteer movements hold the gatherings.

Today, December 25, at the regional election headquarters of Russian presidential candidate Vladimir Putin, a meeting was held with coordinators on the work of signature collection points. During the meeting, participants discussed tasks for the upcoming holiday week. Volunteers were also given additional branded products to use at the locations. The election headquarters clarified that signature collection points will remain open until the end of January.

Let us remind you that according to the law, the current head of state, who submitted documents as a self-nominated candidate in the presidential election, must collect at least 300 thousand voter signatures in his support. At the same time, each subject of the Russian Federation must have at least 7.5 thousand signatures living on its territory. Signatures in support of the candidate must be submitted to the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation from December 27 to January 31, after which the Central Election Commission will check them, consider all documents, and, within 10 days, make a decision on whether to register the candidate for the elections or to refuse it.
