Vladimir Putin spoke at United Russia Party congress

Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke at the 21st Congress of United Russia, which took place on the Russia exhibition and forum site at VDNKh on December 17.

He emphasized that Russia would be a sovereign, self-sufficient power, or it would not exist.

The head of state called the people who, during difficult trials, showed loyalty to duty and their country as assets and support for Russia.

“These are doctors, teachers, scientists, entrepreneurs, workers, engineers from defense enterprises, and other industrial enterprises, farmers,” he said.

As for the United Russia party, the country's president is confident that the party will continue to offer society a creative agenda.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that the United Russia Congress unanimously supported Putin’s candidacy in the 2024 Russian presidential elections. The XXI Party Congress was held on December 17, 2023, in Moscow at the site of the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” at VDNKh. More than 1,000 people from all over the country participated in it, including a delegation from Bashkortostan.

“United Russia” will do everything in March to ensure that Vladimir Putin wins the presidential elections in the Russian Federation, said party chairman Dmitry Medvedev.

Let us remind you that Vladimir Putin has decided to run for president in 2024. He announced his intention to participate in the elections on December 8. If he wins, this will be his fifth term as the head of state.

The Central Election Commission officially approved the three-day presidential elections in Russia. Voting will occur on March 15, 16, and 17, 2024.

Secretary of the regional branch of the United Russia party and Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov supported Vladimir Putin’s decision to run for president of the country in 2024.
