Vladimir Putin answered questions about mobilization
During a large press conference following the results of 2023, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the mobilized Russian military is fighting well, emphasizing that during the Northern Military District, there are already 14 Heroes of Russia among them. He noted that an extensive campaign is underway to attract volunteers, and their flow is not drying out.
The head of state emphasized a large flow of volunteers into the Russian army. Every day, up to one and a half thousand people join the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces.
“Yesterday evening, I was informed that 486 thousand military personnel have been recruited voluntarily. By the end of the year, about half a million people will be recruited, so there is no need for mobilization,” Vladimir Putin noted.
He also added that all volunteers and contract soldiers should be placed in the same conditions and receive the same support from the state.
Bashinform News Agency reported that many mobilized people left Ufa for the Northern Military District zone after their vacation.
