Head of Bashkortostan met with Bangladesh Ambassador to Russian Federation

On December 13, at the House of the Republic, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Russia, Kamrul Ahsan. The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the economy and social sphere, reports the press service of the Head of the Republic.

Radiy Khabirov noted the great potential for strengthening interaction with Bangladesh.

As an example of effective interaction, the head of the region noted the experience of the Bashincom enterprise, which began working with Bangladesh in 2023. The company has already sent the first batch of phytosporin, a fertilizer used in agriculture.

Ambassador of Bangladesh to Russia Kamrul Ahsan thanked Radiy Khabirov for the warm welcome and expressed gratitude for his desire to increase cooperation.

The Ambassador also drew attention to the need to strengthen cooperation in education.

In a conversation with journalists, the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Russia, Kamrul Ahsan, noted his readiness to send highly qualified specialists from various fields to Bashkortostan.

At the end of 2022, Bangladesh ranks 94th among 112 countries that are trading partners of Bashkortostan. Over the years, our republic has exported petrochemical products, oilseeds, electrical equipment, and ferrous metal pipes to Bangladesh. Imports from Bangladesh are mainly represented by textile clothing.
