Direct Line with Radiy Khabirov is highest-rated television event in Bashkiria

On November 29, the Head of Bashkortostan held the traditional “Direct Line”. During the broadcast, for almost four hours, Radiy Khabirov answered questions from residents of the republic, journalists, and members of the public. The live broadcast was on the BST, Rossiya 24, Bashkortostan 24, Salyam, All Ufa TV channels, and the Yuldash and Radio Rossii radio stations.

“Direct Line with Radiy Khabirov” became the main television event of this day, significantly ahead of other television projects in terms of audience. According to research by the MediaHills Company, the share of TV viewing for “Direct Line” on the BST channel alone was 22.5%, which is almost 2 times more than the similar indicators of the traditional leaders of evening prime time - the programs “Today” on NTV, and “60 Minutes” on the channel "Russia-1". The audience coverage of the live broadcast on BLS was almost 900 thousand people.

“These studies were carried out only with the BST channel. Taking into account the audience of the other four TV channels, radio stations, and social media of the Head of Bashkortostan, the total audience of Direct Line turned out to be even more impressive,” the channel’s press service explained to Bashinform News Agency.

The TV viewing share indicator shows the percentage of the total number of TV viewers who chose to watch a particular program. A viewing share of more than 20% in evening prime time is extremely rare and indicates the exceptional interest of the audience in television.

According to our source, 22% is very high; for comparison, the share of watching hockey matches on BLS is usually about 15%.
