The initiative group to nominate Vladimir Putin for the presidential election, the first meeting of which took place recently, included representatives of United Russia, the Young Guard, the Popular Front, cultural and artistic figures, scientists, public associations leaders, industry representatives, and athletes.
Secretary of the General Council of the party Andrey Turchak thanked representatives of volunteers, public organizations, sports, science, education, healthcare, and everyone who took part in the first meeting of the initiative group.
In turn, the head of the executive committee of the Popular Front, Mikhail Kuznetsov, noted that hundreds of thousands of activists in all regions of the country will join the work of Vladimir Putin’s headquarters.
Artists, representatives of youth associations, scientists, scientists, doctors, and athletes expressed support for Vladimir Putin. Their representatives became part of the initiative group, and the next meeting will be held in an expanded format on December 16.
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that the secretary of the regional branch of the United Russia party, the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, supported Vladimir Putin’s decision to run for president in 2024.
“In conditions when we are fighting for freedom and independence, for a new, fair world order, when our guys are courageously, heroically fighting for their Motherland in the Northern Military District, when the whole country has rallied in the name of Victory, this decision of the president has become a powerful incentive to continue the fight, to boldly move forward and build a sovereign, powerful, great Russia of the future,” wrote Radiy Khabirov on his Telegram channel.
