Bashkortostan supports Vladimir Putin’s decision to run for president of Russia, noted the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov. The head of the region expressed his opinion on his Telegram channel:

“Bashkortostan today - together with our President. Residents of our republic fully support the historic and timely decision of Vladimir Putin to go to the elections of the head of state.

In conditions when we are fighting for freedom and independence, for a new, fair world order, when our guys are courageously, heroically fighting for their Motherland in the SMO, when the whole country has rallied in the name of Victory, this decision of the President has become a powerful incentive to continue the fight, to boldly move forward and build sovereign, powerful, great Russia of the future.

Vladimir Putin once said, "In Bashkortostan, like a drop of water, our entire Russia is reflected with its diversity of cultures, religions, languages, and friendship of peoples.” Today, the multinational people of Bashkortostan are a reliable source of support for our country.

We are grateful to Vladimir Putin for supporting all our initiatives and implementing the most important national projects and federal programs in Bashkortostan, improving people’s lives daily, regardless of whether they live in the city or the countryside.

We have always been and will be together with Russia and our President.”

Let us remind you that today, it became known that Vladimir Putin intends to run for president in 2024. The head of state announced this after presenting state awards to the participants of the special military operation in the St. George Hall of the Kremlin.

As the Bashinform News Agency previously reported, the Central Election Commission officially approved the three-day presidential elections in Russia. Voting will occur on March 15, 16, and 17, 2024.
