International Business Week open part has ended in Ufa

The open part of the XVI International Business Week has completed its work in Ufa; special days await guests, which will last until December 1.

The central theme of the XVI International Business Week 2023 is “The Day After Tomorrow. Forecast of the professional community." Participants could look into the new reality and imagine the day after tomorrow from the perspective of the professional community. More than 6,300 people took part in the International Business Week, including representatives of all Russian regions and about 550 foreign guests from 23 countries: India, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Iran, Tajikistan, Belarus, China, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Turkmenistan, Abkhazia, Brazil, Egypt, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Pakistan, Bulgaria, Indonesia, and Cuba.

Over the three days of the forum, more than 50 business events took place, during which more than 400 speakers spoke.

At the plenary session, they predicted the economic future of the region and the country. Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government Sergey Morozov highly praised the powerful management team of Bashkortostan. He noted that the republic is among the leaders in many indicators.

According to the Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, four years ago, just over 800 Bashkir enterprises were engaged in foreign trade activities; now, there are twice as many.

Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov noted that Russia, like the world, is experiencing a period of global turbulence. A radical change is taking place in the entire system of economic relations. To know how to develop tomorrow, you must understand what the day after tomorrow will be like, for example, on the horizon until 2050.

According to the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan - Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy Rustam Muratov, the republic is interesting from the position of profitable investment.
