Bashkiria’s Ministry of Agriculture and Russian Railways will sign cooperation agreement
At the XVI International Business Week, which will be held in Ufa on November 22–24, the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria and the Russian Railways Logistics company will sign a cooperation agreement, the press service of the government of the Republic reported.
“Today, in any industry, it is important to develop transport transportation. For farmers, this is very important when selling their crops. The agreement will allow us to strengthen our work in the field of railway transportation,” commented Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.
First, the document will be aimed at developing activities that include a comprehensive organization of logistics audit work. This is necessary for forming transport and logistics capabilities and developing services aimed at increasing the volume of sales of agricultural products from Bashkortostan.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, following the results of 10 months of 2023, enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of Bashkiria sent 5,271 wagons of grain with a total weight of 370.8 thousand tons by rail. Of these, 4,193 wagons, or 297.2 thousand tons, were sent for export. Compared to January-October last year, shipments abroad increased almost 4.5 times.
International Business Week events will be held at the Toratau Congress Hall. November 22 will be dedicated to growth points for developing entrepreneurship and innovation. November 23 will be held under the sign of cooperation and development of international relations within the SCO and BRICS, and the Russian Economic Forum will take place on November 24. Within the framework of the forum, it is planned to consider issues of international partnership in the context of global changes, trends in business education, new ways for business under sanctions, the development of the tourism sector, the role of the business community in the development of the region, and others.
