The Russian government continues to work to increase the availability of medical care for residents of rural settlements and small towns in the country. Shortly, more than 250 mobile medical complexes and vehicles with medical equipment will arrive in 67 regions, the press service of the Russian government reported.
According to the decree of the Prime Minister, the advance payment when concluding contracts for the purchase of medical complexes and specialized vehicles will be paid in the amount of 100%, allowing funds to be quickly delivered to manufacturers.
Almost 3.7 billion rubles have already been allocated from the government reserve fund for such purchases. With the help of these funds, 60 medical complexes for primary health care, 44 complexes for preventive examinations, 99 for fluorography and mammography, and 50 cars equipped with medical equipment will be purchased. All equipment will be delivered to the regions at the end of 2023 - the first quarter of 2024.
Following his address to the Federal Assembly in 2023, the President instructed the government to ensure the acquisition of mobile medical complexes and vehicles with medical equipment to provide medical care and conduct preventive medical examinations for residents of rural settlements and small towns.
In Bashkiria, such equipment is actively used - on the initiative of the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, “health trains” with medical teams running in remote villages were launched in 2019.
