Supreme Mufti Talgat Tadzhuddin spoke about preserving interfaith and interethnic stability in the Republic of Bashkortostan at the All-Russian forum “Implementation of State National Policy in the Face of Global Challenges.”
“We have something to be proud of! Our country unites almost 200 large and small nations, and our relations, including followers of the traditional faiths of our country - Orthodoxy, Islam, Judaism, and Buddhism, are always based on mutual respect, love, and harmony. This relationship is not just for the sake of politics. It has happened historically,” said the Supreme Mufti.
The Supreme Mufti noted that the relations between different peoples and followers of other religions have gone through various tests, including the fight against fascism during the Great Patriotic War.
The Supreme Mufti noted that just as the state's borders are protected, the world must defend the spiritual and information sphere, resist provocations, and strengthen peace and harmony.
On November 8, the All-Russian forum “Implementation of State National Policy in the Context of Global Challenges” is being held in the Ufa Congress hall “Toratau.” As part of the forum, as previously reported by Bashinform News Agency, a Council on Interethnic Relations meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
