Largest companies in China were presented with economic potential of Bashkiria

Representatives of over 100 large Chinese companies attended a presentation on the economic and investment potential of Bashkiria organized in Shanghai.

Prime Minister Andrei Nazarov made the presentation on the economic and investment potential of the republic. As Bashinform News Agency reported, the Bashkortostan delegation arrived on an official visit to China.

Consul General of Russia in Shanghai Dmitry Lukyantsev welcomed the Bashkir delegation, noting the importance of such a presentation for realizing the investment and industrial potential of the region, as well as for establishing new business contacts.

“For me, Bashkiria is associated with constant hospitality, friendship, and reliability. It is symbolic that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was born and took shape in the Bashkir capital, Ufa. I sincerely believe that the Chinese partners present at the presentation of the republic’s investment potential will find a reliable and strong partner,” said Dmitry Lukyantsev, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Shanghai.

In turn, the President of the Chinese Chamber of Export and Import of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Products, Zhang Yujing, noted that the official visit of the Bashkortostan delegation will have a positive impact on trade and economic relations between entrepreneurs in the region and China.

“We visited Shanghai's newest technology park with the delegation of Bashkortostan and held a series of negotiations. The arrival of a delegation from Bashkiria increases the influence of the region among Chinese entrepreneurs and contributes to the realization of the investment and trade potential of both sides. Chinese entrepreneurs have shown interest in cooperation with the Republic of Bashkortostan,” emphasized Zhang Yujing.

Today, the China Chamber of Export and Import of Mechanical Engineering and Electronic Products is one of the largest industry organizations. Its members include more than 10 thousand enterprises. The Chamber is ready to assist in organizing the visit of the business delegation of Bashkiria with a visit to many leading enterprises from various industries.
