Vladimir Putin signed a decree on creating the National Center of Historical Memory under the President of the Russian Federation. The document was published on the official legal information portal. The organization is being created “to protect and preserve traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, culture, and historical memory.” The founder will be the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation. No later than February 1, 2024, the government must allocate premises for the National Center of Historical Memory. Its creation and operation will be financed from the federal budget and patron donations.
