Ministry of Finance of Bashkortostan submitted draft budget for next three years to State Assembly for consideration

Minister of Finance of the Republic Lira Igtisamova handed over the materials to the Deputy Chairman of the State Assembly - Kurultai of the Republic Ilshat Tazhitdinov, and the Chairman of the Committee on Budget, Tax, Investment Policy, and Property Relations Ruzalia Khismatullina on the draft law “On the budget of the Republic for 2024 and for the planning period of 2025 and 2026.”

The document will be considered on November 2 at a presidium meeting, and then it will be worked on in relevant committees, the press service of the Kurultai reported.

Following the law, budget documents are submitted to parliament before November 1 inclusive and are subject to consideration by all parliamentary committees.

“We expect that the bill will be prepared for adoption in the first reading at the next plenary meeting of the State Assembly at the end of November. The parameters of income and expenses reflected in it will still be adjusted according to deputies' proposals and following the updated figures of gratuitous receipts from the federal budget. Ultimately, the republic must enter the new financial year with a sound, balanced budget, which guarantees citizens the fulfillment of all social obligations and creates the basis for further socio-economic development,” commented the Chairman of the Bashkir Parliament, Konstantin Tolkachev.

The parameters of the republican budget are as follows: projected revenues are about 289 billion rubles, expenses are 299 billion rubles, the deficit is 10 billion rubles, provided with sources of coverage.

As Bashinform News Agency reported earlier, the State Duma discussed the draft federal budget for 2024-2026.
