

Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin told what laws come into force in Russia from the end of October, as well as in November.
On October 30, a law concerning the protection of citizens from the imposition of goods and services comes into force. In particular, fines are being introduced for imposing additional goods, works, and services on consumers. The maximum penalty is 40 thousand rubles.
In addition, from today, liability is being introduced for an unreasonable refusal to consider consumer claims related to a violation of his rights and for evading consideration of such claims in the prescribed manner. The maximum fine will be 300 thousand rubles.
On November 3, 2023, a law expanding out-of-court bankruptcy procedures came into force.
Also, on November 3, the law on state support for technology companies comes into effect.
The document establishes such fundamental concepts as “innovative technologies”, “technology company”, and “small technology company”. In addition, the features and conditions of their activities and the rules for creating and maintaining a register of such organizations are established.
On November 29, a law regarding the safety of gas equipment came into force. In particular, the period during which management organizations, homeowners associations, housing cooperatives, and residential complexes must bring their charters and management agreements into compliance with the new law on the maintenance of gas equipment is expiring.
As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, state control over the sale of cider and beer will be strengthened in Bashkiria.
