Russian authorities have allocated more than 17 billion rubles to support large families paying mortgages

The government continues to help parents with many children. The mortgage payment compensation program applies to families where a third or subsequent child was born after January 1, 2019. Families have access to payments of up to 450 thousand rubles, which can be used to cover a loan for the purchase of housing or its construction, for the purchase of land for individual construction.

In 2023, the government allocated about 76 billion rubles to implement the program. The head of government said that a decision had been made to allocate over 17 billion rubles for these purposes.

The financing will help support about 38 thousand more large families who have purchased a new, more spacious apartment, house, or plot for its construction, the press service of the Federal Cabinet reported.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, this year, the republic has been allocated more than 5.4 billion rubles from the federal budget to pay child allowance, and parents of more than 283 thousand children have received a unified allowance since the beginning of the year.
