Kazakhstan Honorary Consul office opened in Ufa

On October 24, the office of the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan was opened in the capital of Bashkiria. It is located in the Republic Management Center. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan attended the opening ceremony to Russia Dauren Abaev, Prime Minister of Bashkiria Andrey Nazarov, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Bashkiria Semyon Pilyugin, members of the government of the republic, representatives of the Kazakh diaspora, and other honored guests.

“Kazakhstan interacts with Bashkiria both in industrial cooperation and through humanitarian cooperation and culture. We have enormous opportunities. Bashkiria is a large, serious region of Russia. There is a large Kazakh diaspora, about a thousand of our students. This is a big connecting link. We are implementing joint projects with Bashkiria. We are considering the tourism potential of Bashkiria. I think there will also be more of our students in Bashkiria; there is a good educational base here,” Dauren Abaev told reporters.

According to the ambassador, with the help of the consulate in Ufa, Bashkiria and Kazakhstan will be able to begin implementing many new projects, which will contribute to the further development of relations.

The delegation of Kazakhstan has been visiting Bashkiria for the second day. The day before, representatives of a friendly country visited the Ufimsky Industrial Park and USPTU. Dauren Abaev met with natives of the Republic of Kazakhstan studying at the university. In addition, the guests got acquainted with the exhibitions of the Museum of Archeology and Ethnography and the Bashkir State Art Museum of Nesterov and also laid flowers at the monument to Mustai Karim. Today, Dauren Abaev met with the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov.
