The State Duma Committee on Labor proposed to adopt several government initiatives in the first reading, including a project to increase the minimum wage, RIA Novosti reports.
The minimum wage is proposed to be increased to 19,242 rubles in 2024. This is 18.5% more than the current level - 16,242 rubles.
The Russian government also submitted to the State Duma a draft budget for 2024, the planning period 2025-2026, and several other documents of decisive importance for public finances.
The Committee also supported the bill establishing the expected period for payment of the funded pension for 2024, which provides for its maintenance at 264 months (22 years).
Regarding tariffs for compulsory social insurance against industrial accidents and occupational diseases, the Committee recommended maintaining 32 insurance tariffs for the next three years.
An initiative was also recommended to increase pensions for non-working pensioners, which provides for an increase in the pension coefficient to 133.05 rubles.
