Oleg Golov has been vested with Federation Council member’s power from State Assembly of Bashkiria

The former head of the Blagoveshchensk district administration, Oleg Golov, became the new senator from the State Assembly - Kurultai of Bashkiria. Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported that United Russia nominated his candidacy.

At the first meeting, the State Assembly of Bashkiria deputies supported Oleg Golov's candidacy. They gave him the powers of a member of the Federation Council from the State Assembly of Bashkiria. He will replace Irek Yalalov in the Federation Council, vested with such authorities in 2018.

Oleg Golov was born in 1972 in Sterlitamak. He graduated from Sterlitamak State Pedagogical Institute as a Candidate in Pedagogical Sciences. Over the years, he worked at CJSC Kaustik and OJSC Soda and was the financial director of Salavat Catalyst Plant LLC. In 2016–2019, he headed the Development Corporation of Bashkiria. Then, he worked for several months as an assistant to the head of the administration of the Head of Bashkiria, after which he became deputy head of the Blagoveshchensk district administration for construction and housing and communal services. Since September 2019, he has headed the district administration.
