Ukraine Citizens can enter Russia without visas - presidential decree

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree according to which Ukrainian citizens can enter the Russian Federation and leave the country without visas. For those entering or leaving, one of the following documents is sufficient: internal, foreign, diplomatic or service passport, seaman's identity card, etc. For children under the age of 16, a birth certificate is required. Entry into Russia from Ukraine is allowed even with documents that have expired.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency reported about the decree signed by the president on a “digital passport.”
