Turkey Trade Attaches have explored Bashkiria's investment potential

Trade attaches of the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey, Merve Bayata and Murat Sözbir, visited Bashkortostan on a working visit. As the press service of the government of the Republic reported, the visit aimed to study the region's investment potential, the basic needs of entrepreneurs, and the opportunity to expand cooperation with the Turkish business community.

Trade turnover between Bashkortostan and Turkey in January–July 2023 increased by 81.5% compared to seven months of 2022.

“The active work of the representative of Bashkortostan at the Russian trade mission in Turkey, Marat Tansykkuzhin, allows us to develop fruitful cooperation in many areas. Just the other day, we were visited by representatives of the Federation of Programmers of Turkey. And thanks to this meeting, we can consider new areas for mutually beneficial joint work,” commented the head of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations of the Republic, Margarita Bolycheva.

Turkish trade attaches visited the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Export Support Center, and other business support agencies. During the negotiations, special attention was paid to tools for attracting investors and the department’s experience working with Turkish partners.
