At finish line: 95% of sown area has already been harvested in Bashkiria
“We have reached the finish line for harvesting grain and leguminous crops. The harvest has already been collected on 95 percent of the sown areas - 1.62 million hectares. In the Sterlitamak region, grain growers threshed almost 200 thousand tons of grain. In Aurgazinsky, Karmaskalinsky, Baymaksky, Chishminsky, Davlekanovsky, and Meleuzovsky districts - more than 100 thousand tons.
In total, the farmers of Bashkortostan threshed 3 million 128 thousand tons of grain - one and a half times higher than the needs of our region. This is a worthy result, especially considering that this year, the weather tested the strength of our grain growers. Thank you everyone!
