Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, will meet with Russian journalists in Sochi at the XXVII Forum of Contemporary Journalism on September 22. The moderator will be the Chairman of the Union of Journalists of Russia, Vladimir Solovyov. Participating in the Bashkir forum “Mediaiyyn” in June this year, he invited the Head of the Republic to a journalistic rally.

“The media of Bashkiria can be set as an example to other regions. There are over a hundred publications, many in national languages, and everything works well—a potent journalistic corps. And the authorities of the republic are very supportive of journalists. It is no coincidence that the secretariat of the Russian Union of Journalists decided to award the Head of Bashkortostan our honorary badge “For services to the professional community.” Only a few governors received such an award—namely those who constantly support journalists,” said Vladimir Solovyov.

The topic of Radiy Khabirov’s speech is “Bashkortostan in the SMO: We are not abandoning our own.”

The invitation of the Head of Bashkiria is quite natural since the republic is recognized as one of the best regions for organizing assistance to participants in a special military operation. In addition, the Union of Journalists of Bashkiria will present at the forum its platform with a photo exhibition and literary exposition. It will also organize a media breakfast with branded Bashkir desserts - honey and chak-chak.
