Amendments have been made to Human Rights Council regulations
As Bashinform News Agency found out, by the decree of the Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov, dated September 15, 2023, changes were made to the regulations on the council under the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan for human rights and the development of civil society institutions.
It follows from the document that “the council includes the chairman of the council, the deputy chairman of the council, the executive secretary and members of the council, who are appointed by the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan on the proposal of the administration of the Head of the Republic, the government of the Republic, the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic, the Commissioner for Children’s Rights in the Republic, Public Chamber of the Republic. Members of the Council have equal rights."
This decree came into force from the date of its signing.
