Russia must be self-sufficient, but this does not mean country isolating - Vladimir Putin

The future of Russia lies in its self-sufficiency without isolation, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, answering a question about the image of the country’s future in 10 years.

As the head of state emphasized, the future depends on us. Scientists are engaged in their developments, and industrialists work in the field of material production in agriculture. In turn, cultural figures create images to support our values.

“Everything must be realized that our country, including security and defense, must be self-sufficient. But this does not mean isolation of the country. In cooperation with our partners and friends <...>, we will develop our own country and make it even stronger,” Vladimir Putin said.
