Chairman of the State Assembly - Kurultai of Bashkiria Konstantin Tolkachev spoke about when the elected deputies of the seventh convocation will begin work.

“We are now waiting for the final voting results - they should be published soon. According to the law, the parliament of the new convocation comes into its own at its first meeting. It will take place in early October. At the meeting, the structure of the State Assembly will be formed, the chairman and his deputies will be elected, and the composition of the standing committees will be determined. The organizing committee will prepare for the first meeting. It will be formed based on the representation of all factions, considering the number of deputy mandates. The organizing committee will develop proposals that will be put to a vote of deputies,” said Konstantin Tolkachev.

According to him, changes are possible in the structure of parliament's standing committees. They may affect both the quantitative composition of committees and the directions of their activities. This is due to the specifics of the current agenda.
