Head of United Russia executive committee: “Bashkiria - leader in raising funds for school overhaul”

Deputy Secretary of the regional branch of United Russia Ruslan Nasretdinov, at a press conference in Bashinform News Agency, dedicated to the preliminary results of the elections of deputies to the State Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the 7th convocation and deputies of village councils, said that the republic is a leader in attracting federal funds for major repairs of schools.

“There is quite a strong competition among Russian regions for attracting federal funding, but we manage to maintain a leading position. In 2023, children went to 77 updated educational institutions,” the speaker explained.

Ruslan Nasretdinov added that 35 post offices will be renovated in Bashkiria this year.

“Some of them have already opened. The rest are being retrofitted with furniture and other equipment,” noted the head of the party’s executive committee.
