Radiy Khabirov presented awards to Republican Railway division employees

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, congratulated the employees of the regional structural divisions of the Kuibyshev Railway, a branch of Russian Railways, on the upcoming professional holiday on July 31, in the House of the Republic. The Head of the Republic wished the labor collectives of the Russian Railways success in their work and presented state awards of Bashkortostan. In his welcoming speech, he said:

“Today, on the eve of your professional holiday – Railway Worker's Day, we decided to present well-deserved state awards to employees of our railway industry.

Here are station chiefs, machinists, drivers, inspectors, engineers, site foremen, and many other workers of the Kuibyshev railway.”

The Head of the Republic noted that the Republic's Government had closely cooperated with the Kuibyshev railway for many years. As a result, passenger traffic is growing from year to year.

Radiy Khabirov said that the plans include further development of suburban high-speed transportation, improvement of railway stations, and completion of the reconstruction of the Ufa railway station.

Recall that the Day of the Railway in Russia is celebrated on the first Sunday of August.
