17 000 schoolchildren from Bashkiria took part in School Tourism program in 2023

More than 11 000 schoolchildren in grades 5-9 in 2022 and about 17 000 young residents of Bashkiria in 2023 became participants in the School Tourism program, which is being implemented as part of the national project Tourism and Hospitality Industry. The press service of the government of Bashkiria provides this data.

Tour operators in the federal register were selected to participate in the program. Then we developed travel routes considering the wishes of schoolchildren and their teachers. For the program's implementation in 2023, the republic received 188.7 million rubles from the federal budget and 75.5 million from the regional budget. About 37 thousand students from all cities and regions of the republic will participate in the project. In this regard, the number of tourist organizations - participants has also increased.

All tour operators provide group transfers, accommodation and hot meals for children, insurance, cultural, educational, and patriotic excursions accompanied by a professional guide. Particular attention is paid to security issues.

Bashinform News Agency reported that more than 2,500 Bashkiria schoolchildren participated in industrial tours.
