Radiy Khabirov presented state awards of Russia and Bashkiria

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, took part in the solemn ceremony of presenting state awards of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Bashkortostan on July 25 in Ufa. Orders, titles, distinctions, certificates of honor, and thanks were awarded to the professional achievements of 65 employees of enterprises, organizations, and institutions in the field of industry, construction, energy, science, agriculture, healthcare, education, culture, and art, press and mass media, physical culture and sports.

"Honored people, well-known specialists in the republic, and representatives of various professions have gathered in this hall today - scientists, cultural workers, educators, rescuers, engineers, designers, builders, power engineers. The stages of development of our republic and, of course, our successes are connected with the activities of each of you.

Last week in Moscow, under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko, the results of the work of world-class scientific and educational centers were summed up. Our Eurasian SEC is among the leaders in the Russian rating of such institutions. This is a significant achievement. And with it, we link the work of numerous scientific workers. Today we have just a substantial award for scientists,” said Radiy Khabirov.

By decree of the President of the Russian Federation, the Medal of the Order for Services to the Fatherland, 1st degree, was awarded to geneticist Vener Vakhitov, the author of more than 300 scientific papers, inventions, and patents, the founder of well-known scientific schools in the country.

The scientific works of chemists Gumer Ishmuratov, breeder Nina Leshchenko, biochemist Maryam Malikova and other scientists advance our science and higher education to very high levels.

Today Olga Shevnina is being awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples. Since 2018, she has been the head of the regional branch of the All-Russian Society of the Deaf, actively defending the rights of people with disabilities. Olga Vyacheslavovna did a lot for successfully holding the Abilympics championship in our republic. And these days, the Summer Deaf Games “We are Together. Sport” is going on, celebrating peace, kindness, and cooperation.

The medal "For Labor Valor" was awarded to the General Director of the hockey club "Salavat Yulaev" Rinat Bashirov. Today, the flagship of Republican sports is going through a difficult stage of restructuring with dignity. Thanks to the efforts of Rinat Bashirov, the team is successfully renewed based on the young pupils of our hockey school and the best traditions of Bashkir hockey.

The entire working biography of Konstantin Donguzov is connected with our Oil University, where he has trained hundreds of specialists over the years. A well-known scientist, architect, and author of over 100 projects, including the National Youth Theater of Mustai Karim and the Cathedral Church of the Nativity of the Virgin complex. One of his last works is a joint project with the magnificent sculptor Salavat Shcherbakov - the reconstruction of Ufa's Sovetskaya Square, dedicated to General Shaimuratov.
