Head of Bashkiria announced investment protection program launching

Since July 1, a program for protecting and promoting investments has been launched in the republic. This was discussed at the operational meeting of the government. The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, called this decision "unprecedented."

“Earlier, it took two years to obtain a land plot. We removed a lot of bureaucratic obstacles. Now business sheriffs can safely tell entrepreneurs that there are no barriers. There is no minimum “threshold” for investments, no need to confirm the origin of funds, the requirement for a certain number of new jobs has been removed, and indicators of budget efficiency have been removed. As a result, the list of documents has been reduced from 18 to 3. These are a declaration, a project presentation, and information about the infrastructure. From the moment the application is submitted, the investment project must get to the Investment Hour session within 30 days, and 30 days after approval, an agreement must be signed on protecting and promoting investments and allocating a land plot,” said Radiy Khabirov.
